What does teeth grinding have to do with worms?

i recently started grinding my teeth, and i have found that this can be caused by worms. doing some reverse-research, i found that worms can lead to teeth grinding...but i don%26#039;t understand why.

how do the two affect eachother?

thanks!

They cause pain while you are sleeping,so you grind your teeth
Reply:Have never heard that. Grinding your teeth has nothing to do with that.
Reply:what i heard when you grind your teeth while sleeping is when your mad to someone and you dont express your self.
Reply:I have been grinding my teeth while I sleep for the past 15 years...sometimes worse than others. There are many things that cause it, like teeth misalignment, stress, too much caffeine, etc. I have never heard that worms may cause teeth grinding. Make sure to see your doctor (a sleep specialist and/or oral surgeon) to get some help. I have done everything from stress therapy, counseling, muscle relaxers, night guards (for my teeth), braces to re-align my teeth (the 2nd time), exercise, yoga, and I even cut out caffeine and chewy foods from my diet. The best thing that seemed to help me was learning to deal with stress better and relax. If it gets worse again, my only other option would be surgery to realign my jaw, but I really don%26#039;t want to do that. Best of luck with your problem. Honestly, I don%26#039;t think it is caused by worms.
Reply:Strees is the number one cause.
Reply:Teeth grinding has nothing to do with worms, I think many of us grind teeth while sleeping, we just don%26#039;t know it.
